Advanced Dreamweaver

This two-day course is aimed at Web authors who already use Dreamweaver. The current version of Dreamweaver is version MX 2004, but previous versions can be taught as well.

It teaches the skills needed to use Dreamweaver to connect web pages to databases, and deliver customised web pages from the server, providing enhanced navigation and interactivity. Delegates will build a data driven Intranet site during the course.

The specific technologies used in course exercises are Active Server Pages (ASP) for database connectivity, with MS Access as the data source. Other technologies (JSP or ColdFusion) are available on request.

Good existing Dreamweaver skills are required for this course (a 2 day 'Introduction to Dreamweaver' course is also available). No existing Access or ASP skills are needed but delegates should have an understanding of how, and why, to use a database.
